SLACKER
So I have been way behind on getting new posts up. Apologies to whoever is really keeping track of this. I still need to post the infamous fire extinguisher photos; once I get them back from Allyson I will post them immediately.
March is going to be a hell a month. St. Ratricks Day, Bock Fest, Ghost Mice, Japanther...the list goes on. There will be tons of photos for all of March. The only problem I have with keeping up is the financial aspect of printing the pictures and buying film. I will turn down rolls of film if anyone has any to spare.
I will let you know when I have some new shit up.

SOCIALIST FUND RAISER
Bikehaus hosted a fundraiser for the International Socialist Organization on Saturday. Caterpillar Tracks played along with The Read, and Digital Kate. As usual, nobody showed up until about ten o'clock, but, of course it ended up packed. The Read started the evening by playing first; it was quite the typical set in which people hit the floor, gave high fives, and sang along with every word of the songs. Caterpillar Tracks played after The Read and I was pleasantly surprised. Apparently the have been around Cincinnati for five years and I feel like an asshole because they are awesome and I have never heard of them. I spoke to them and tried to encourage them to play more shows at places like Bikehaus so the other end of the Cincinnati scene can hear them. Definitely a great band to see. After the bands played, Digital Kate set up and ended up Djing through what may have been the worst snow storm in history. I think we all now know that we cannot leave a fire extinguisher within the reach of anybody at a Bikehaus show. I will leave it at that for now because I have some pictures to go along with that story.
THE GRAMMER'S CURSE
So I can admit that I am a little afraid of the dark. I also don't take pleasure in being scared, so, the only explanation I have for going into a dark attic in a bar that has a reputation for being haunted is that snake bites get the best of me. Friday night was Saria's birthday ( I think that is how she spell's her name) so a bunch of people met up for it at Grammer's in OTR. I have to say getting locked in the terrifying pitch black attic and watching Troy practice his, "Punk Jumps" made the evening. As usual, we all had a little to good of a time.
